In 2017, a publication titled The Allred's of Eccles, Lancashire, England, From the 1500's to 1700 was published after extensive research in England.
It lists many Allred ancestors as far back as 1500.

Allreds in America
The American Allreds descended from a man named Solomon Allred who was born in England, son of John Allred and Ellen Pemberton, and came to America around 1720.
He married Ann York in Lancashire, left England, and arrived in Pennsylvania around 1718.
